Australian Scrapbook Ideas #28 – The Art of Journaling Feature

ASI Issue #28 is out now!! In this issue I have created an Art Journal out of an old Diary, you can see the instructions for creating this in the current issue.
There is soooo many talented designers in this issue, as always. All the girls are truly inspiring!
I had a lot of fun creating this one and have lots of plans for many more soul inspiring pages to come! 🙂

This journal is going to be a reminder of the messages that I need to hear daily.

I will be drawing and painting a lot more of these angels, still trying to think of a name for them. Will be something like spirit guides or something like that.
If you have a great name for them I would love to hear it!

TCR #170 ~ Shattered Dreams

This months Colour Room Palette was just perfect for this photo.  It is not your typical happy snap, This is a self portrait that my daughter took and I pinched this pic off her FB page. I love the arty and moody feel of the photo, but it also captures a challenging time in her life, I know that she is going to be so much stronger for it. No one wants to see their kids go through difficult times, I think it is the hardest thing to have to watch them live though their own life lessons. It is only natural that we want to protect them from the world. I am so proud of her and the amazing strong woman she has become. To me she will always be the unstoppable woman that got on a plan at 19 and went around the world on her own! So brave and so beautiful!

I used a toothbrush to create the texture in the Clay Heart and Butterflies. Love how it gave them a stone look finish. Read more

‘Finalist Entry Kaisercraft DT 2014/15’

I am excited to share my Kaisercraft Finalist Entry with you!
We were sent these gorgeous new Paper ranges to work with. Once I got started with playing with them it was a bit hard to stop.
How adorable is this new Teddy Bears Picnic Range, absolutely perfect for those gorgeous baby pics! I love how this layout turned out with this cute photo of my Friend Denise’s bubba. Couldn’t have been more perfect with the teddy in the pic too! 🙂

A quick update & pics from the March ScrapMedia Workshop

It really has been a crazy start this the year this year.
With no signs of slowing down!

I have had so many doors opening and have been working relentlessly to get my business established.
I have had such an emotional roller coaster ride these past few months.
The photo above represents what my last couple of years have looked like. I think I have gone through more black pens in the past 12 months than I have in all my schooling.
All these notes and all these ideas and all this learning can only lead to great things I am hoping! 🙂

The first workshop for the year in March was so much fun, we jam packed so much into the weekend and I literally didn’t stop all weekend and forgot to get photos. I managed to get a couple at the end but missed a few of the girls! These ladies always make me smile, such a pleasure to teach! Each and every one of them beautiful and talented! I am so blessed to have you all at my workshops! xxx
